Build future-proof skills to give you an advantage in applying for university and job applications. Companies and top unis are looking for students with algorithmic thinking and a technical mindset now more than ever.
Students will work with top mentors from ETH Zürich to explore the algorithms powering the technology they use every day, from Google Maps and Spotify to search engines and recommendation systems. You will then build your own project using Python and JavaScript, whether it be a smart trip planner, your own IMDB, Spotify, etc. and present your work in a friendly competition at Google for prizes.
Running across two parallel tracks, you can self-select your intensity:
Applied Track: A project-based, creative introduction to algorithmic thinking designed for students who want to engage with real-world technology without diving deep into theory.
Prior Skills Needed: None (Business mind, Creativity is a plus)
Advanced Track: Alongside the project, students tackle LeetCode-style problems, develop deeper algorithm and programming skills, and build competition-ready experience.
Prior Skills Needed: Experience with Scratch, Python, or JS
